Hi:

I’m the editor of the all-new http://www.CivilWarTraveler.com. We’ve just added Civil War sites and events from more than 20 states to our “old” website which for 15 years listed sites in the mid-Atlantic. We cater to folks who are planning visits to Civil War sites and/or events while on trips – or those interested in discovering new places and activities in their local area.

I’m asking those involved in the Civil War community for help. We have tried to list all the “public-friendly” Civil War sites we could find: those with good onsite interpretation and museums with significant Civil War content. It’s our goal to list all Civil War events open to the public.

We would very much appreciate it if you would take a few minutes, have a look at the new website, and give us your comments. We figure we have made some mistakes and/or missed some places and events. Our goal is to be a “one-stop” resource for those interested in visiting Civil War-related sites and events. Your input is invaluable to us… and to the folks out there planning Civil War-related visits.

Thanks for your help. Here’s the link again: http://www.CivilWarTraveler.com
