I wanted you to be aware of a new book: "The Wanderer: The Last American Slave Ship and the Conspiracy that set its sails,"
published by St. Martin's Press. This true story takes place in 1859, and brings up many points about the pre-war political buildup
that have been underestimated in recent years.
