Hello, my name is Karen Needles.

I would like to introduce you to a brand new Lincoln website devoted to the study of the Lincoln Administration, beginning with the Presidential election of 1860. As a historical researcher for Ron White, Jr., Mathew Pinsker, Ron Soodalter, James Swanson, etc., and a prior education specialist with the Library of Congress's American Memory collections, I understand the demand for primary and secondary sources online for those who will never be able to come to Washington, D.C. to personally look at these records.

LincolnArchives.us is dedicated to place those resources online. We are systematically digitizing the record groups at the National Archives, and searching through the manuscripts collections at the Library of Congress.

In addition to documents, we are adding contemporary biographies of major politicians, abolitionists, authors, artists, musicians, etc. You will also find contemporary maps of major cities in the United States, and soon to follow will be the city directories for those selected cities.

Photographs, political cartoons, newspaper articles, speeches, journals, letters, all online to view from the comfort of your home.

Subscriptions to full access of these sources, is $15 per month. There are currently over 3000 primary and secondary sources online currently. There are two special features currently online: The Presidential Election of 1860, and the U.S. vs. Nathaniel Gordon, the only slave trader to be executed. So I invite you to subscribe to the site.

Best regards,
Karen Needles
