Dear Dr. Brown,
I'm sending you an e-mail to help spread the word about a new Civil War motion picture that's just been released on DVD and I hope you can log-on to the movie web site, see what's been done on the film, and of course, order a copy for your library.

It's titled "No Retreat From Destiny" and tells the story of the last great Confederate invasion of the north, in the summer of 1864, the July 9, 1864 battle of Monocacy, and the attack and defense of Washington, D.C. at Fort Stevens. The movie is 106 minutes long, and is told as a documentary drama - with actors portraying the personalities of the time such as Robert E Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln. The battle scenes are some of the most intense ever filmed of Civil War-era combat. This is certainly a one-of-its-kind, action-packed and historically accurate film.

There are extras on the DVD we've just released - re-enactment footage from the 2004 "To the Gates of Washington" event, a making of documentary and commentary track from the director and historian on the film. The deluxe 2-disc edition of the movie includes the original motion picture soundtrack CD. The movie was produced by men and women from the Civil War re-enacting community - not by Hollywood, so we all worked very hard at "getting it right."

Check out the details and place a DVD order at: http://www.monocacymovie.com there are more video, music clips and photos at: http://www.lionheart-filmworks.com.

It would be great if you could forward this message onto your e-mail address grouping, to help us spread the word through grass roots marketing! We made this movie to be seen and enjoyed by everyone interested in the Civil War, thank you in advance for all your help.

Best wishes,
Mary Bezbatchenko
