The following February 10, 2006 email from Round Table member, Dr. Michael Brown, will inform the reader of the big CW Forum scheduled March 23-26, 2006 in Franklin, Tennessee.
From: drmikeb@usa.net Harvey, Please post the following info.: Our Civil War Forum group is having our 10th annual conference this March & it will be held in Franklin, TN. Here is a link to the details for the Conference: http://homepage.mac.com/civilwarforum/Personal6.html We have exactly 10 seats remaining for this tour & conference that will encompass Stone's River, Franklin, Spring Hill, Nashville, & some of the Columbia area battles & actions. We have an 'ALL STAR' lineup of speakers & tour guides incl. our own Jim Ogden who will lead the Stone's River tour. Also we will have arguably the #1 authority on Franklin: Thomas Cartwright, Director of the Carter House & Save the Franklin Battlefield Board member. Tom, like Jim, has been featured on numerous A&E/History Channel/PBS, etc. historical documentaries & has written some books/articles incl. a chapter in Mauriel Joslyn's Cleburne book. Finally, we'll have my friend Mark Zimmerman, former board member for our Battle of Nashville Preservation Soc. He is also the BONPS webmaster & newletter editor & wrote the definitive "Guide to Civil War Nashville." I will also have a table displaying & selling my Civil War photography where proceeds go to benefit the Patrick Cleburne Soc. Statue fund. The Events begin 3/23 & conclude on 3/26.
