the History of the Civil War. The weekend is entitled "Why Franklin Matters," takes place in Franklin
Tennessee, and will host various speakers, educational tours, strategic roundtable discussions, and other special events. Below is a
schedule and a list of rates.
According to Carroll Van West, Director of the Tennessee Civil War National Heritage Area,
"Why Franklin Matters! will be this summer's most comprehensive and engaging forum on
the history, the preservation, and the promotion of the whole story of Franklin's Civil War
era."
