We will meet at the Riverpark at 10 AM on Saturday August 25th. This will let us arrive in Nashville between 11-11:30 AM Central time. We will then find places to have lunch and arrive at the museum about 12:30 PM. At his time we will tour the museum individually or in groups until 2 PM. At that time the curators will give us personal tours to see the battle flags.

When we meet at the Riverpark, we will attempt to consolidate rides to minimize the number of vehicles. At that time, the drivers will be given a map with instructions to the museum and a listing and location of suggested nearby restaurants. Each can arrive to the museum as they please, but we all must be present by 2 PM.

While the museum is free, we are collecting $5 from each attendee to donate to the battleflag restoration project. We have pledged this in return for the curators coming in to tour us on their off-day. We will collect this at the Riverpark before we depart. I have attached a map to show the ranger station from which we will depart.

Hopefully, several of our CCWRT members can attend. This is a once in a life time event and not to be missed.

The curators have asked us to submit a list a battle flags we would like to see and they will attempt to make them available. This is a great opportunity to see the battle flag of your ancestor.

We can take non-flash photos or movies but can not post them on the internet or use them commercially.

Please poll the CCWRT membership to see who will attend. I need to provide an estimated number of attendees within two weeks.
